The Genesis of Engaged Worship:
It all started in 2012 with a January prayer seeking God’s direction for the year. From those prayers came a series of questions: What if a group of us were to create an event that could bring all area worship leaders and team members together to unite, encourage, and equip us in our ministries? What if we, as a community, could re-center our hearts around why we do what we do… why we devote so much of our time and talent to the goal of creating meaningful times of worship? What if that re-centering and renewal could send us all back to our home churches with new ideas, energy, enthusiasm, and practical training? What if ALL of those things then transferred out into our church bodies, deepening the worship experience for church attenders all over the area?
These “what ifs” are the heart of the Engaged Worship Conference. Worship matters. Community matters. We believe that this event is God’s idea and we invite you to join us for our annual event held in February.
